- 3-5 Years Solid engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience shipping production code, with engineering ability as the primary gate ahead of GenAI-specific background.
- Hands-on experience using an AI coding tool in daily development work, such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, OpenAI Codex, or a comparable AI-assisted coding tool.
- Working proficiency in Python and Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework, including familiarity with FastAPI (or a comparable Python web framework) and basic relational database use (eg, PostgreSQL).
- Basic familiarity with AWS services, including compute and serverless patterns.
- Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable agentic framework is preferred and can be developed further on the job.
- Baseline AI literacy, including understanding how AI works, recognizing helpful AI scenarios, directing AI effectively, evaluating AI outputs, and using AI responsibly.

- Build production services and APIs in Python using FastAPI (or a comparable framework), and corresponding UI work using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
- Implement features based on designs set by Senior Engineers, Team Leads, or the Manager.




- Build and integrate features using AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
- Support integrations with the Anthropic Claude API and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Contribute to AI Governance capabilities across explainability, observability, and prevention as directed.
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain clean, reliable code.
- Estimate own work and flag risks, dependencies, or scope concerns early.

The Software Engineer is a full-stack individual contributor who builds services and features for Gen AI Platform Improvements and Claude Integration under the design direction of Senior Engineers, the Team Lead, or the Manager. This role works across the same technology surface as the Senior Software Engineer role, with less independent design ownership expected.
