About the Role:

Confidential Company (One of Indias largest and most prestigious Engineering and Services Company) is scaling its Healthcare & Life Sciences unit to deliver interoperable, AI-powered platforms across Connected Medical Device-to-Value ecosystems, Value-Based Care, Digital Core Admin, Telehealth/RPM across the Core Engineering space.
We seek a CTO who can set the technology vision and own execution end-to-endfrom Software engineering, Medical devices ER&D; architecture, platform engineering to security, data governance, and client-facing solution leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Technology Strategy & Platform Roadmap

- Define a 3-5 year technology vision and portfolio roadmap and reusability standards across products.
- Make build/buy/partner decisions; establish reference architectures, standards, and technology governance (APIs, data, integration, AI/ML).
- Align tech strategy with BU growth goals, product strategy, and GTM; drive OKRs that translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
- Drive Software engineering practices & SaMD.

Product & Platform Engineering Leadership

- Lead engineering for multi-tenant SaaS, SaMD platforms (secure-by-design, high availability, performance at scale).
- Champion SRE/DRE reliability engineering, observability (OpenTelemetry), and automation-first operations.
- Architect FHIR-native, API-first, microservices platforms; enforce modularity, domain-driven design, and design-for-change.

Security, Compliance & Risk

- For SaMD/device-connected solutions, ensure alignment to IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and FDA/CE pathways in collaboration with quality & regulatory teams.





Interoperability & Integration

- Standardize event-driven patterns (Kafka), GraphQL/REST APIs, and API governance (versioning, discoverability, SLAs).

Client Advisory, Pre-Sales & Partnerships

- Steer technical narratives for RFP/RFI responses (blueprints, estimates, sizing, BoM) and lead executive workshops & due diligence.
- Build strategic alliances with AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, NVIDIA, MuleSoft, Apigee/Kong, and leading EMR vendors; drive co-sell/marketplace strategies.
- Represent Companyas a technology thought leader via conferences, publications, and standards forums.

Organization, Talent & Culture

- Design the tech org (Architecture Guild, Platform Engineering, Data/AI, Security) and scale blended teams (in-house + partners).
- Foster a culture of agility, curiosity, craftsmanship, and accountability with transparent metrics and blameless postmortems.

Innovation & Accelerators

- Incubate reusable accelerators (API templates, data pipelines, MLOps scaffolds, device cybersecurity playbooks).
- Encourage IP creation (patents, design frameworks) and institutional knowledge bases.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

- 18-25 years of progressive technology leadership, with 15+ years in Medical devices and Healthcare.
- Proven track record in software engineering, enterprise-grade cloud platforms, SaMD platforms and multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
- Deep familiarity with workflows & Automation: device monitoring, Software engineering across embedded space, RCM, telehealth/RPM.

Leadership & Behaviors

- Strategic systems thinker with a builder's bias for action and habit of 'ship value early, iterate fast'.
- Executive communication, client-facing credibility, cross-functional influence, and change management.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.




- TOGAF, Cloud Solution Architect (AWS/Azure/GCP), Healthcare IT/HITRUST, ISO/FDA device-related exposure.
- Experience with Responsible AI frameworks or SaMD regulatory pathways is a plus.
