Responsibilities

- Lead statutory audit engagements, ensuring compliance with Ind AS, Standards on Auditing, Companies Act, 2013, and applicable regulations.
- Oversee audit planning, execution, documentation, review, finalisation, and reporting.
- Review financial statements and audit working papers for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Manage, supervise, and mentor audit teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Apply robust knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and auditing standards to complex accounting matters.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely audit deliverables.
- Identify key financial reporting, internal control, and compliance risks and communicate relevant observations.
- Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, India GAAP, Ind AS, IFRS, Standards on Auditing (SA), and SQC 1.
- Relevant experience in Statutory Audit, Financial Reporting,



and audit documentation.
- Ability to analyse financial statements, identify key audit matters, and apply accounting and auditing standards effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and deliver within deadlines.
- Good understanding of audit planning, execution, review, and reporting.
- Candidates with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in Chartered Accountancy practice will be preferred.
- The role is particularly suited to professionals who wish to develop their expertise in audit, assurance, financial reporting, and client advisory, rather than treating the position as a short-term transition to industry.

Qualifications

- CA (Chartered Accountant) - Qualified.
