Job Summary

Plays a critical/lead role in coordination with Application team for creating test design framework as per RTM

Responsibilities

- Perform Manual Testing by designing, executing, and validating functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Conduct API Testing to validate request/response data, business logic, and integration between applications using tools like Postman.
- Execute Database Testing by validating data integrity, backend processes, and SQL query results to ensure accurate application behavior.
- Creates/updates Test Data for Automation Test cases
- Performs SIT & UAT Test Execution and oversees the test execution of the Junior TE s
- Selects the applicable Regression Tests and Test cases suitable for automation considering automation selection criteria
- Reports defects & follows up with Developers / BA / IT for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA
- Provides Test Results walkthrough to stakeholders for Sign off.
- Creates, maintains Test Assets and Repository




- Assists Team lead in driving testing best practices through regular knowledge sharing sessions
- Documentation for Project Including Test Planning, Execution, Defect Reporting
- Ensures regular communication with test lead on any issue that may impact quality, schedule, or budget of the project.
- Manages timesheets of team/self and ensures accuracy of leave management, thus assisting TL in RMG related data
- Coaches the teams and steps up whenever TL needs any knowledge, technology, process driven initiatives eg, creation of SOP s and managing the adherence.
- Acts as module lead if project demands and becomes a part of solutions
- Ensures the productivity measurement and enhancement of the team members, acting as a support to the Team Lead
