SAP MDG Technical Consultant:

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance, ABAP development, and MDG technical implementation. The candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting SAP MDG solutions across master data domains.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG Technical solutions based on business requirements.
- Work on SAP MDG Central Governance and Master Data processes.
- Develop and enhance MDG applications using ABAP, Web Dynpro, Floorplan Manager (FPM), and BRF+.
- Configure and develop MDG workflows, validations, derivations, and change requests.
- Work on MDG data models, UI configurations, search configurations, and business rules.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between MDG and SAP/non-SAP systems using IDoc, Web Services, APIs, RFC, and SOA.
- Work on data replication using DRF (Data Replication Framework).
- Develop custom enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, and BADIs as required.
- Handle data migration, data enrichment, and master data validation activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and integration teams.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.





Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience in SAP MDG Technical.
- Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.
- Good knowledge of MDG Data Models and extensibility.
- Experience with MDG Change Request and Workflow.
- Strong knowledge of BRF+.
- Experience with FPM/Web Dynpro and MDG UI configuration.
- Knowledge of DRF and data replication.
- Experience with IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Good understanding of SAP master data concepts such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, etc.
- Experience in debugging and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP MDG is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, CPI, or other integration technologies.
- Experience in MDG implementation, rollout, migration, or upgrade projects.
- Positive understanding of SAP integration architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience

- 5+ years of overall SAP experience.
- Relevant hands-on experience in SAP MDG Technical and ABAP.
- Experience working on end-to-end MDG implementation/support projects is preferred.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP MDG/ABAP certification is an advantage.
