- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Gujarat Factory Rules, and applicable environmental regulations.
- Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) across plant operations and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor environmental aspects including waste management, emissions, effluent treatment, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives and reporting requirements.
- Develop and execute emergency preparedness plans, including fire and evacuation mock drills.
- Ensure contractor safety compliance, safe work practices, and PPE adherence.
- Conduct safety inductions, safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Perform internal EHS audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, KPIs, and management review presentations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science.
- Diploma or ADIS in Industrial Safety is mandatory.
Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in Setting, Health & Safety within a manufacturing industry.
