Solution Architect Software, Hardware, Cloud & Systems Integration

Location: Navi Mumbai | Employment Type: Full-Time | Experience: 10+ Years

Function: Technology / Solution Architecture |Reporting To: Head Technology / CTO

1. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable and secure technology solutions across software applications, hardware, cloud platforms, networking, IoT and enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business and customer requirements into robust end-to-end technical architectures across on-premises, edge, hybrid and cloud

environments. The candidate will work closely with business, product, engineering, infrastructure and hardware teams to ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, cost-effective and aligned with long-term technology strategy.

The role requires strong hands-on understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, distributed systems, hardware/IoT integration and enterprise technology ecosystems.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Design and own end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, hardware, networking, cloud infrastructure and system integrations.
- Analyse business and customer requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, maintainable and commercially viable technical solutions.
- Define system architecture, application components, interfaces, APIs, data flows, integration patterns and deployment models.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate on-premises, cloud, hybrid and edge architectures based on business, technical and cost considerations.
- Develop reference architectures and reusable technology patterns for enterprise and customer-facing solutions.
- Work closely with software engineering teams to establish architecture principles, coding and development standards, technology frameworks and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with hardware and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems, IoT devices, sensors, gateways and enterprise applications.
- Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions using AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Guide the adoption of microservices, API-first architecture, containers, Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code where appropriate.
- Define integration architecture for enterprise applications, third-party platforms, databases APIs and external systems.
- Provide technical guidance on infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, performance optimisation, high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Ensure solutions are designed with security, scalability, performance, availability and compliance as core principles.
- Review technical designs and provide architecture governance throughout the complete project lifecycle.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and architectural gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, including solution diagrams, deployment architectures,



interface specifications, data-flow diagrams and technical design documents.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable innovations that can improve product capability, operational efficiency and business outcomes.

• Support pre-sales and solutioning activities by contributing to technical proposals, solution presentations, RFP/RFI responses, demonstrations and customer discussions.

4. Required Experience

• 10+ years of overall experience in software, systems engineering or technology.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Systems Architecture.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.

• Proven experience working across on-premises, hybrid-cloud and edge environments.

• Hands-on exposure to hardware, embedded systems, IoT devices, sensors and gateways.

• Strong experience in defining APIs, data flows, integration architecture and enterprise system interfaces.

• Experience working with cross-functional engineering, product, infrastructure and business teams.

6. Preferred Experience

• Hybrid-cloud enterprise solutions

Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF or equivalent architecture certifications will be an advantage.

7. Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related

discipline is required.

• Master's degree in a relevant technology or management discipline will be preferred.

10. Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technology leader and architect who can operate across business and technology functions. The candidate should be equally comfortable discussing business requirements with senior stakeholders and working with engineering teams on APIs, cloud infrastructure, system integration and deployment architecture. Experience in designing large-scale education, SaaS, IoT, AI-enabled or enterprise technology

platforms will be particularly valuable.
