Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the design team, ensuring high-quality and timely project deliverables.
- Review furniture layouts, scope lists, presentations, material boards, and design documentation.
- Guide furniture selection, European brand shortlisting, sourcing coordination, and material selection in line with project requirements and budgets.
- Ensure all designs align with project objectives, client expectations, and brand standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, sales teams, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend client and architect meetings and provide design direction where required.
- Review and approve design presentations, specifications, and project submissions.
- Conduct site visits to verify design implementation, furniture placement, and design compliance.
- Support the team in furniture mapping, space planning, and design problem-solving.
- Drive innovation, process improvements, and design best practices within the department.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to design schedules.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of approved designs.
- Coordinate with European furniture brands, vendors, and suppliers for specifications, quotations, and project requirements.




- Train and develop junior designers to improve team capability and performance.

Preferred Attributes

- Strong knowledge of luxury furniture, interior materials, and space planning.
- Mandatory experience in European luxury furniture sourcing, specification, and brand management.
- Proven experience in managing design teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of furniture layouts, styling, and material specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and design presentation tools.
- Ability to review, guide, and improve design outputs independently.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, or turnkey interior projects.
