Job Summary

Manage the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of utility-scale solar power plants by coordinating O&M; activities, site teams, contractors, performance monitoring, maintenance planning, and compliance.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day solar plant operations and maintenance
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Coordinate resources for planned maintenance and breakdown resolution
- Monitor Plant Availability, Grid Availability, PR, generation, and SCADA performance
- Analyze generation losses and implement corrective actions
- Supervise module cleaning, grass cutting, housekeeping, and site maintenance
- Manage vendors, contractors, inventory, spares, and Purchase Requisitions
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and performance reports
- Coordinate with DISCOMs, local authorities, vendors, and statutory agencies
- Ensure HSE, statutory, quality, and company compliance requirements are met
- Conduct site inspections and travel to project sites as required





Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy, or equivalent
- 5-8 years experience in Solar Power Plant O&M;
- Experience in utility-scale solar PV projects preferred
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, inverters, transformers, switchyard equipment, SCADA, and preventive maintenance
- Strong PR and plant performance analysis skills
- Positive vendor, contractor, and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel to project sites (~10 days per month)
