We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Engineer/ Manager with strong expertise in Bus Closure Systems, Access Systems and Safety Components.

Work Location - Seethrampur Plant ,Hyderabad

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design and development activities from concept to SOP.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Driver Doors, Passenger Doors, Emergency Doors and Escape Hatches.
- Develop Manual/Wheelchair Ramps, Wiper & Washer Systems, Hinges, Latches, Locks, Stays and Gas Springs.
- Prepare and release 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-up, packaging and interface studies.
- Develop and execute DFMEA, DVP&R; and validation plans.
- Ensure compliance with AIS, CMVR, AIS-052 and homologation requirements.
- Coordinate with BIW, Body Structure, Trim, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality and Supplier teams.
- Lead supplier technical discussions, APQP,



PPAP and engineering change management.
- Drive root cause analysis, cost reduction, weight optimization and design improvements.

Required Skills

- 5 -12 years of experience in Bus Body / Commercial Vehicle / Automotive Design & Development.
- Strong experience in Bus Closure Systems and Safety Components.
- Good knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R;, APQP, PPAP, GD&T;, DFM/DFA.
- Knowledge of AIS, CMVR, AIS-052 and vehicle homologation.
- Experience in supplier development and manufacturing process reviews.
- Valuable understanding of engineering drawings, mechanisms and tolerance analysis.
- CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE / PLM experience is preferred.
- Education

BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile
