Position Title: Operations & Maintenance (Solar)
Business Unit: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL)
Function: Renewable Solar O&M;
Location: Khavda

Role Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants by driving plant performance, maintenance activities, safety compliance, and day-to-day site operations. The role requires hands-on experience in solar plant O&M;, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations & Performance

- Monitor plant availability, PR, CUF, and generation performance.
- Analyze inverter, SCADA, and weather monitoring data to identify and reduce generation losses.
- Support implementation of performance improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Ensure effective operation of DC and AC systems including modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, HT lines, and substations.
- Coordinate with the control room and relevant teams for timely fault rectification.

Maintenance Management

- Execute preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Conduct testing activities such as Thermography, IR Testing, CRM, DCRM, and Hypot testing.
- Ensure timely closure of maintenance work orders and SAP PM notifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with AGEL HSE standards, PTW system, JSA, TBT, and electrical safety requirements.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and closure of observations.
- Support compliance with statutory, environmental,



and regulatory requirements.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Coordinate with O&M; contractors, module cleaning agencies, and service providers.
- Monitor contractor performance as per defined SLAs.
- Support site-level material management and inventory control.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with internal functions such as Asset Management, Engineering, SCM, HSE, and Finance.
- Support interactions with DISCOM, SLDC, OEMs, and local authorities whenever required.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Electrical Supervisor License preferred

Experience

- 5-10 years of experience in Solar Power Plant Operations & Maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in utility-scale solar projects.
- Exposure to SCADA, inverters, substations, and transmission systems.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Experience working at remote site locations will be preferred.
