Role Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Microservices Development team The role involves designing developing and deploying microservices applications that run on Kubernetes The engineer will contribute to building scalable resilient and cloud native solutions collaborating closely with architects and senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices applications using JavaSpring Boot or equivalent frameworks
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with event driven systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CICD pipelines and automated deployments
- Ensure scalability reliability and security of microservices
- Participate in code reviews testing and documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed environments
Required Skills
- Solid programming skills in Java Spring Boot REST APIs
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
- Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns, service discovery, API gateway, fault tolerance
- Understanding of CICD tools Jenkins Git ArgoCD Helm
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Kafka or other event streaming platforms
- Experience with monitoring tools Prometheus Grafana ELK stack
- Familiarity with security practices in microservices OAuth2 JWT RBAC
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices
