Role & responsibilities

Internal IT & Hardware Support

- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
- Perform hardware replacement, upgrades and preventive maintenance.
- Install and configure Windows OS, drivers, applications and system updates.
- Troubleshoot laptop/desktop issues including RAM, SSD/HDD, battery, display, keyboard, motherboard, power and boot-related issues.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot printers and scanners.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration and basic network connectivity issues.
- Maintain IT hardware and asset inventory.
- Maintain records of hardware issued, repaired, replaced and returned.
- Coordinate with hardware vendors/service centres for warranty and repair-related matters.
- Assist in procurement and technical evaluation of IT hardware whenever required.

Client-Site Support

- Visit client locations for hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Provide in office support for laptops, desktops, printers, networking equipment and other IT peripherals.




- Attend client complaints/service requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Install and commission IT equipment at new client sites.
- Perform hardware replacement and basic network troubleshooting at customer locations.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Prepare service/visit reports after completing client assignments.
- Maintain professional communication and customer relationships during site visits.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Laptop/Desktop Hardware Troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting
- Printer installation and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, routers, switches, data backup and restoration
- Hardware assembly, component replacement and upgrades
- Valuable communication and customer-handling skills
- Ability to work independently at client locations
- Willingness to travel for client/site visits
