Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using PTC Creo.
- Design and develop cast components such as housings, brackets, engine parts, transmission components, and structural castings.
- Apply casting design principles, including draft analysis, wall thickness optimization, fillets, ribs, and shrinkage allowances.
- Perform design modifications based on manufacturing and quality feedback.
- Conduct feasibility studies and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reviews.
- Support tooling development and casting process optimization.
- Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing, tool design, and quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and GD&T; requirements.
- Review and resolve design-related issues during prototype and production stages.




- Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design release procedures.

Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo (Part Modeling, Assembly, Drawing Modules).
- Positive knowledge of casting design methodologies.
- Understanding of sand casting, die casting, investment casting, and gravity casting processes.
- Experience in GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of material properties related to ferrous and non-ferrous castings.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill is preferred.
- Basic understanding of FEA and manufacturing processes.
