Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to join our Finance &
Accounts team. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting end-to-end accounting operations, statutory
compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role requires a strong grasp of accounting
principles, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks, along with the ability to lead and coordinate with internal and
external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations,
and general ledger management.
- Assist in the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in
compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all statutory requirements, including but not limited to
GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws.
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audit
processes and adherence to compliance timelines.
- Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records as per statutory and organizational
requirements.
- Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts,



and MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.

- Provide guidance and supervision to junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in
deliverables.
- Review vendor contracts, payment terms, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal
requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in
financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Professional qualifications such as CA (Inter) will be preferred.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and statutory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory
laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (Tally ERP, zoho books).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
