Job Summary

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you are an experienced IT Operations professional who supports application systems OR infrastructure in a specific domain (network, platform, database, workplace). You work as a key member of operations teams, are an expert in ITIL processes, and are proficient in supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Specialize in a systems monitoring and support as a member of a technical team.
- Keep technical skills up to date and keep track of new technologies
- Basic scripting skill and knowledge to discuss with Systems Engineers
- Participate in root cause analysis of major and significant incidents
- Detailed knowledge of relevant SLAs and their implications for support
- Detailed working knowledge of local processes
- Valuable grounding in technology wide processes
- Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements, across multiple areas
- Can quickly diagnose the underlying cause of incidents
- Identifies incident impact quickly
- Delivers consistently high quality resolutions
- Communicates effectively, escalating when and where is necessary
- Spots patterns and trends in incidents




- Excellent in communication and proactively keeping customer informed of the progress
- Operate existing areas and resolve issues using existing procedures, knowledge, and the resources around me.
- Identify the need for training and able to coach peers and team members on latest changes in application
- Publish knowledge base articles for any new issues identified
