Junior SEO Executive

About WEBPRO

WEBPRO is an established UK digital agency providing websites, SEO, paid advertising and digital marketing services to businesses across the UK.

We are expanding our SEO team and are looking for a Junior SEO Executive based in India to work as part of our established SEO operation.

This is a hands-on SEO role. You will work directly under our SEO Specialist, who will be your day-to-day line manager, and as part of a wider SEO team led by our Senior SEO Strategist & Organic Growth Lead.

The Role

We are looking for someone who already has practical SEO experience and can independently complete routine SEO tasks after being given direction.

This is a junior role, but it is not a trainee or entry-level position.

You do not need to be an SEO strategist or expert. You do need to understand SEO fundamentals, know how to use the core tools and be capable of completing assigned work accurately and reliably.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Keyword research and competitor research
- On-page SEO optimisation
- Optimising titles, meta descriptions, headings and page content
- Internal linking and content optimisation
- Making SEO-related changes to WordPress websites
- Reviewing Google Search Console for indexing, coverage and performance issues
- Using GA4 to review organic traffic and performance
- Carrying out routine website and SEO health checks
- Supporting technical SEO audits
- Identifying and resolving straightforward technical SEO issues
- Using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar
- Tracking rankings and organic search performance
- Preparing and updating SEO reports
- Publishing and optimising website content
- Recording work completed and maintaining accurate task records
- Supporting the wider SEO team across multiple client websites

What We're Looking For

You should have:





- At least 1 year of genuine hands-on SEO experience
- 2+ years' experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of on-page SEO
- A basic but practical understanding of technical SEO
- Experience using Google Search Console
- Experience using Google Analytics / GA4
- Experience working with WordPress
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or equivalent
- Good written English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to follow established processes accurately
- The confidence to work independently on clearly assigned tasks
- The judgement to ask questions when something is unclear

Previous digital agency experience and experience working across multiple client websites would be an advantage.
