SIE / Platform Support

This role supports PlayStations global infrastructure. Platform Support is the connective tissue of PlayStations infrastructure - a team that owns operations across cloud networking, observability, identity, CDN, DNS, egress, and certificate management. Were looking for an engineer who combines technical depth with operational instinct: someone who doesnt just fix problems, but finds the gaps before they become incidents and builds the tooling to close them.

Responsibilities

- Triage and resolve operational requests across cloud networking, DNS, observability, egress, and identity services.
- Build and maintain internal tooling: Python automation scripts, Jira workflows, and Splunk dashboards.
- Identify gaps in processes and documentation; close them proactively before they surface as incidents or customer pain.
- Partner with service teams to onboard current services into the Platform Support model and define runbooks and SLAs.
- Contribute to observability improvements across DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Cribl.
- Manage and support cloud networking configurations - VPC peering, PrivateLink endpoints, Transit Gateway routing, Direct Connect.




- Support identity and access workflows including AWS IAM, Akamai EAA and certificate lifecycle management.
- Author and maintain service documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles to a high standard.
- Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to post-incident reviews and process improvements.
