News Desk (Internship) We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented News Desk Intern to join our editorial team. The intern will assist the newsroom in monitoring, curating, writing, and publishing news content across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Monitor breaking news, trends, social media, and wire updates Assist in writing, rewriting, and updating news stories Create SEO-friendly headlines and captions Fact-check information before publication Coordinate with reporters, photographers, and video teams Upload stories, galleries, and videos on CMS Track trending topics and audience engagement Support the editorial team during live events and breaking news situations Requirements: Robust command of English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus) Interest in journalism, digital media,



and current affairs Basic understanding of SEO and social media trends Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment Good communication and time management skills Familiarity with CMS and digital publishing tools is preferred Eligibility: Journalism, Mass Media, Literature, or Communication students/graduates preferred Prior internship or campus media experience is an advantage What You’ll Gain: Real newsroom experience in news monitoring, editing, and digital publishing workflows.
