Role: Sr. Engineer – CS Fabrication Location: Mangaluru Experience: 8 years Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical Role Overview We are looking for a Sr. Engineer – CS Fabrication with robust experience in Carbon Steel Static Equipment fabrication. The role will be responsible for managing fabrication activities, shop throughput, manpower, quality and timely delivery of equipment. Key Responsibilities Manage Carbon Steel Static Equipment fabrication shop and daily production activities. Handle fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other Static Equipment. Manage Circumferential Seam setup, welding, nozzle fabrication and integration. Coordinate NDT, Quality and Inspection activities. Ensure proper distortion control and fabrication as per specifications and QAP. Ensure equipment fabrication and delivery as per project schedules. Manage manpower, contractors and workmen at the fabrication shop.
Monitor shop KPIs, throughput and documentation. Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, NDT and other internal teams. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and customer requirements. Key Requirements 8 years of overall experience in Carbon Steel Static Equipment Fabrication. Strong experience in Pressure Vessel / Heat Exchanger / Static Equipment fabrication. Hands-on experience in welding, nozzle fabrication and integration. Good knowledge of NDT, distortion control and PWHT. Working knowledge of ASME, API, EN, TEMA and ASTM standards. Experience in manpower and contractor handling. Experience in fabrication shop management and production planning. SAP / ERP knowledge will be an added advantage.
