Role: Backend Java Developer - FBTI (Fusion Banking Trade Innovation) Location: Airoli, Navi Mumbai Duration: 2 Years Contract Position In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Back-End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FBTI (Fusion Banking Trade Innovation) Back-End development, with a focus on building scalable and robust applications. As an Intermediate Back-End Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance and deployment of our trade finance platform, ensuring high performance and high availability. The role may require on-call duties, time shifts, and occasional deployments during weekends. Qualifications and Profile This position requires 3 to 7 years of relevant experiences in Java software engineering, ideally in a banking environment. Education Required: Education Bachelor or higher – Computer Science or related technical education Technical Skills: Primary skills (minimum 3 years of experience): Java Language: Minimum hands-on experience of 3 years in core concepts and features introduced in Java 8 or later with knowledge in Spring Framework. Trade Finance / FBTI: Proven experience in trade finance domain, especially with FBTI application from FINASTRA. Databases: Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and SQL. CI/CD concept: Experience with continuous integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, Maven, ANT…). Version Control: Proficient in version control systems,



particularly Git. Integrated Development Environments: Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ. Code Quality: Strong understanding of code quality practices, including code reviews, unit testing / TDD, and integration testing. Experience with SonarQube and Checkmarx source code analysis tools. Secondary skills (as an advantage): Performance Optimization: Skills in profiling and benchmarking tools for Java applications, load testing and stress testing tools. Artifact Management: Familiarity with Nexus, JFrog Artifactory or similar tools. Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Experience in implementing BDD practices using tools like Cucumber and X-ray for Jira, integrating BDD frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation of functional requirements. OS & Middleware: Experience on Linux (Red hat), JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat and IBM MQ. Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana or ELK Stack. Knowledge of OMI and APM set of practices and tools. Knowledge of Monitoring as a Code (MAC) concept is a plus. Configuration Management Tool: Experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and HashiCorp Vault.



These tools help automate the deployment, configuration, and management of applications and infrastructure. API Development: Proficiency in building scalable and secure APIs (e.g. REST, gRPC, GraphQL, etc), adhering to industry standard practices in versioning, documentation (e.g. OpenAPI specs). Prompt Engineering: Fundamental knowledge of prompt engineering concepts and techniques with basic experience in crafting transparent, contextually relevant prompts to guide AI Code Assistant tools (e.g. Copilot, Tabnine or ChatGPT). Functional skills: Knowledge of international trade & commodity finance domain or basic banking experience is an advantage. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Scrum practices.
