News Desk (Internship)

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented News Desk Intern to join our editorial team. The intern will assist the newsroom in monitoring, curating, writing, and publishing news content across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor breaking news, trends, social media, and wire updates
- Assist in writing, rewriting, and updating news stories
- Create SEO-friendly headlines and captions
- Fact-check information before publication
- Coordinate with reporters, photographers, and video teams
- Upload stories, galleries, and videos on CMS
- Track trending topics and audience engagement
- Support the editorial team during live events and breaking news situations

Requirements:

- Strong command of English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus)
- Interest in journalism, digital media, and current affairs
- Basic understanding of SEO and social media trends
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced newsroom environment




- Good communication and time management skills
- Familiarity with CMS and digital publishing tools is preferred

Eligibility:

- Journalism, Mass Media, Literature, or Communication students/graduates preferred
- Prior internship or campus media experience is an advantage
