• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Promote ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical equipment within the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop current business opportunities with hospitals, eye care centres, and ophthalmologists.
• Generate leads through market mapping and customer visits.
• Expand the customer base while maintaining existing client relationships. Customer Relationship Management
• Build long-term relationships with ophthalmologists, surgeons, hospital administrators, and purchase departments.
• Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
• Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams for timely support. Product Demonstration
• Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations.
• Coordinate installation and product handover with the application team.
• Assist customers during product evaluations and trials.
• Support workshops, conferences, CMEs, and exhibitions. Tender & Commercial Activities
• Prepare quotations and proposals.
• Participate in institutional and government tenders.
• Coordinate documentation required for order processing.
• Negotiate pricing within company guidelines. Market Intelligence
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product launches, and market trends.
• Provide regular market feedback to management. • Identify potential opportunities for new products and market expansion. Reporting
• Maintain CRM and daily call reports. • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting.
Preferred Product Experience Candidates with experience in selling any of the Medical Devices.
Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Science, Optometry, Pharmacy, or related qualification. • MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Experience • 2–8 years of sales experience in Ophthalmology Medical Devices or any other Medical Devices sales experience.
• Experience selling capital medical equipment is preferred.
• Candidates from ophthalmology, diagnostics, imaging, surgical equipment, or hospital devices sales companies will be given preference.
