Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Design Engineering

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our Design Engineering team. The role includes a structured training period across manufacturing, assembly, quality, and service functions to build a strong understanding of Injection Molding Machines (IMM), followed by a transition into a Mechanical Design Engineer role.
Training Exposure
During the initial training period, you will gain hands-on exposure to:

Machine assembly and manufacturing operations
Hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
Quality inspection and machine testing
Service, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities

Key Responsibilities After Training (Design Engineering)

Design and develop components and sub-assemblies for Injection Molding Machines.
Create 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and assembly layouts.
Perform basic engineering calculations and FEA for critical components.




Generate and maintain Engineering BOMs and technical documentation.
Collaborate with production, sourcing, and assembly teams to improve manufacturability and product performance.
Support root cause analysis, design improvements, and engineering change implementation.

Candidate Profile

Education

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering (recent graduates or final-year students).

Technical Skills

Exposer to Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similar CAD software.
Basic knowledge of FEA and engineering analysis tools.
Strong fundamentals in machine design, strength of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.;
