Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager for Metallurgist (Heat treatment and wire processing)

Job Description: Monitor, Develop & Audit of customers

Objectives:

- Strong experience in IATF16949/ISO9000 requirements.
- Experience in fasteners industry preferred.
- Experience in RM suppliers handling, Different Heat Treatment process & Machining process like CNC turning, Milling, surface grinding & Grinding etc.
- Knowledge on TPM, IATF, EMS, QCC & 5S.
- Knowledge on PPAP, APQP process
- Experience on NPD handling
- Knowledge on Hot forging, cold forging, Thread rolling & Casting process added advantage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Strong experience in IATF16949 systems, ISO 9000 systems & EMS 14001, NABL Lab scope.
- Need to do Raw materials inspection & RM supplier audit as per time lines.
- Need to frequent audits our suppliers & train them towards improvement.
- Need strong experience in HT process like Batch process HT, Continuous mesh belt process, Annealing process.
- Robust experience required Wire processing (Pickle phosphating, Wire Drawing & annealing).




- Good Knowledge on Secondary operations like Machining, Grinding process, Milling process etc.
- Experience in handling of all metallurgical equipments like Hardness testers, Micro scope etc.
- Able to implement all ISO & IATF system requirements at supplier end.
- Handling of new product development with the help of plant team
- Handling of customer complaints by analyzing root cause analysis & corrective actions implementation.
- Knowledge on problem solving tools.
- Knowledge on Forging, Rolling & casting process.
- Knowledge on process new process establishment with team
- Support a team to work towards the department and Division's goals.
- Actively participates in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
- Knowledge on MPI & eddy current.
- Knowledge on milling, surface grinding

Qualifications:

- Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
- 10+ Years of experience in manufacturing environment (Cold forging industry).
