Team Lead – Robotics Data Collection and Annotation

Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

1. Team Oversight:
- Lead and mentor a team of Robotics Data Collectors and Annotators, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work workplace, ensuring team members meet their goals and contribute effectively.
- Help the team with the troubleshooting and fixing the issues we face on Ubuntu/Python/VS Code and other platforms

- Project Management:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and timely delivery of data collection and annotation projects.
- Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, metrics, and project progress to management. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Training and Development:

- Identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities for team members.
- Promote best practices in prompt engineering and stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Operational Excellence:

1. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the team consistently produces high-quality data and annotations for various Robotics actions which we will perform.
- Implement and oversee processes improving the prompts for a better model training.

- Process Optimization:

- Identify areas for improvement in Robotics processes and workflows.




- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, including Data Science, Research, and Development, to align Robotics efforts with overall project goals.
- Act as a liaison between the Robotics team and the management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Leadership Experience:
- Proven experience leading and managing teams in a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide team members.

- Technical Expertise:

- Strong understanding of Windows and Ubuntu Operating systems
- VSCode familiarity
- Basic networking knowledge (troubleshooting device connectivity)
- Basic hardware setup skills (mounting cameras, connecting trackers)
- Basic python competency (reading error messages)
- Log reading: ability to parse error messages and identify relevant information
- Basic git (checkout to branch and pulling)
- Experience in managing Robotics or other LLM based annotation projects will be preferred

- Communication Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.

- Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
