About the Role

The Design & Communication Officer will support Scorpio India's internal communications and
employer branding initiatives, with a primary focus on visual design, video, photography and
creative execution. The role will also support day-to-day communication requirements, internal
stakeholder coordination and branding initiatives, providing creative and communication support
across the function.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

The incumbent is responsible and accountable for:

- Develop visual communication assets across internal, external and employer branding channels.
- Create and adapt graphic, digital, print and presentation material in line with Scorpio India's
brand identity.
- Develop and edit videos, reels, motion graphics and other visual content.
- Support photography and visual documentation of corporate events and employee initiatives.
- Translate communication briefs into relevant creative concepts and visual treatments.
- Support internal communication, employee engagement and employer branding campaigns.
- Understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into appropriate communication and creative solutions.
- Ensure consistency in Scorpio India's visual identity and communication standards.
- Manage multiple creative and communication requirements within agreed timelines.
- Contribute to brainstorming and development of new creative formats and communication ideas.

Tasks
Tasks shall include but not be limited to:

- Handle routine creative requests from internal stakeholders and take them through to completion.




- Draft or adapt basic internal communications such as announcements, reminders and event related messages.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information, clarify requirements, share drafts and manage revisions.
- Support the day-to-day communication calendar and ensure routine requirements are actioned on time.
- Maintain organised files, templates and creative assets for easy access and reuse.
- Assist with event-related communication and branding requirements.

Desired Skills:

- Solid visual sense with an understanding of layout, typography, composition and visual
hierarchy.
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to interpret a brief and develop relevant
visual solutions.
- Good understanding of Social Media platforms, Content formats, corporate branding and
communication.

Technical Skills:

- Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva are mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign will be an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of graphic design and digital creative development.
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Basic photography and photo-editing skills.

Reports to: Internal Communications Officer
Internal Stakeholders: Human Resources, Leadership Team, Employees across all functions
Minimum Experience: 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Creative Design, Branding, Corporate Communications or a similar role.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication,
Communication Design, Mass Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Fine Arts or a related discipline.
