Job Description: A Logistics Manager for a coal washery oversees the entire supply chain, including raw coal procurement, transport to the plant, and distribution of washed coal via road or rail. Key duties involve coordinating with railway authorities for rakes, managing transport contractors, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate stock records. Key Responsibilities

- Logistics & Transportation: Manage inbound raw coal and outbound processed coal logistics, ensuring timely supply to clients.
- Railway Coordination: Coordinate with railway authorities for, track loading, and movement of railway rakes.
- Inventory & Dispatch: Supervise coal unloading, stacking, storage, and loading operations.
- Contractor Management: Oversee transporters and logistics vendors to ensure productive and compliant transport.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of materials, manage e-Way Bills,



and ensure compliance with GST rules.
- Quality Control: Monitor coal quality during loading and ensure safety protocols are followed during transportation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: 10-12 years in coal mines, coal washeries, or mineral logistics.
- Education: Graduation (Bachelor’s degree) in relevant fields.
- Skills: Proficiency in, rail/road logistical coordination, contract management, and, inventory management systems.
- Attributes: Analytical, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Typical Reporting To: Site Manager, General Manager (Operations), or Plant Head.
