Position Title: Dietitian InternDepartment: Nutrition & DieteticsReports To: Clinical Dietitian / Nutrition Services ManagerType: Internship Full Time - Stipend - 3000/- per monthAbout the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Dietitian Intern to join our Nutrition & Dietetics team. This internship offers hands-on experience in clinical nutrition, meal planning, and patient/client education under the supervision of licensed dietitians. It's an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in dietetics to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist registered dietitians in assessing patients'/clients' nutritional needsHelp develop individualized meal plans and dietary recommendationsSupport nutrition education sessions for patients, families, or community groupsConduct diet histories and nutritional screenings under supervisionAssist with menu planning and recipe developmentDocument patient progress and maintain accurate nutrition recordsParticipate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessionsResearch current nutrition trends, guidelines,
and evidence-based practicesSupport administrative tasks related to the nutrition departmentQualificationsCurrently enrolled in (or recent graduate of) an accredited Dietetics, Nutrition, or related degree programWorking toward completion of a Dietetic Internship (DI) or equivalent supervised practice hours (if applicable)Basic knowledge of nutrition science, food safety, and dietary guidelinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with valuable organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with nutrition software/EHR systems a plusAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamPreferred SkillsPrior experience or coursework in clinical or community nutritionCPR/First Aid certificationBilingual abilities (a plus, depending on patient population)What You'll GainDirect mentorship from licensed dietitiansPractical clinical and community nutrition experienceExposure to interdisciplinary healthcare teamsLetter of recommendation and networking opportunitiesProgress toward RD/RDN eligibility hours (if applicable)
