Responsible for operation, setup, programming, maintenance and troubleshooting of DMTG VMC machines used for precision machining of components.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up DMTG VMC machines.
Perform milling, drilling, tapping, boring, facing and contouring operations.
Tool setting, tool offset correction and workpiece alignment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
Handle CNC controls such as Fanuc / Siemens, depending on machine configuration.
Perform tool changes and set appropriate cutting parameters.
Conduct first-piece inspection and dimensional measurement.
Troubleshoot CNC, mechanical, electrical and tooling-related issues.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance where required.
Maintain production and machine records.
