We are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor with 2–3 years of relevant experience to supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities at project sites in Chennai.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily electrical installation work at the site.
Manage electricians, technicians, and subcontractor teams.
Read and understand electrical drawings and layouts.
Supervise installation of HT/LT panels, MDB, SMDB, DBs, cable trays, conduits, lighting, earthing, and electrical equipment.
Coordinate HT/LT panel installation, cable termination, glanding, testing, and commissioning.
Supervise cable laying and electrical equipment installation.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other site teams.
Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion.
Ensure electrical work meets required quality and safety standards.
Assist with electrical testing and commissioning activities.
Prepare daily progress reports and material requirements.
Ensure workers follow electrical safety procedures and use PPE.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
2–3 years of experience in electrical site supervision.
Hands-on experience with HT/LT panels and electrical distribution systems.
Knowledge of HT/LT panel installation, cable termination, testing, and commissioning.
Valuable knowledge of electrical installation works.
Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (SLD).
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
Positive communication and team-management skills.
Willingness to work at project sites in Chennai.
