About the role

ProConnect is building AI agents for its warehouse operations.

As Data

Scientist, you'll sit in the AI Product & Process Design Team, alongside warehouse operations experts and the IT/data team. Your job is to turn raw warehouse data into clean, reliable inputs the agents can use. You'll also help train and improve those agents over time.

What you'll do
Work with warehouse management system data to find gaps, clean it and prepare it for modelling
Build imputation models to fill in operational timestamps and events that the WMS doesn't capture today
Help create a easy data product (raw to best fit) that the AI agents will run on
Take part in use-case workshops and help estimate whether each use case is feasible and what it's worth, measured in cost, service level and productivity
Run model training cycles, share the results with the design team and feed improvements back into the context, knowledge and data
Define KPIs and test cases for each agent,



and track how it performs after go-live

What we're looking for
12 years of hands-on experience building data science / ML models (e.g. prediction, forecasting, classification or imputation), in any industry, with at least one model you built end to end (data prep modelling validation) that you can walk us through in detail
Strong Python and SQL, plus the usual data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn or similar)
A positive grasp of statistics, missing-data handling and basic forecasting
Comfort working directly with operations teams and explaining results in plain business language
Willingness to work from Chennai and spend time on warehouse floors

Valuable to have (Extra)
Experience in logistics, supply chain or warehousing
Exposure to LLMs, AI agents or MLOps
Some experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
