Roles & Responsibilities
Installation: Lay wiring, conduit, cables, electrical fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breaker panels according to technical blueprints and electrical codes.
Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct routine testing and inspection of electrical systems, transformers, and distribution boards to ensure secure power delivery.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical faults, short circuits, voltage drops, and faulty components using multimeters, insulation testers, and hand tools.
Safety & Code Compliance: Follow strict electrical safety protocols, National Electrical Code (NEC) / local regulations, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Component Replacement: Repair or replace damaged breakers, switches, relays, motors, control gear, and lighting systems.
System Upgrades: Assist senior electricians in panel upgrades, equipment rewiring, and integrating energy-productive LED or smart systems.
Documentation & Stock: Maintain accurate records of completed work, maintenance logs, and request necessary spare parts and equipment supplies.
