Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams (frontend, backend, platform, etc.) building scalable, customer‑facing products.
Drive end‑to‑end product development lifecycle: planning, estimation, execution, release, and post‑launch support.
Define and improve engineering practices (code quality, CI/CD, testing strategy, observability, incident management).
Collaborate with Product Managers to refine roadmaps, prioritize features, and balance technical debt, reliability, and innovation.
Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability through design reviews, architecture guidance, and standards.
Hire, onboard, and grow engineers; conduct performance reviews and career development conversations.
Represent engineering in leadership forums; provide explicit status updates, risk visibility, and data‑driven insights.

Qualifications




12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands‑on engineering background in software development.
5+ years in a people‑management or engineering‑lead role , managing teams of 6–12+ engineers.
Robust technical foundation in contemporary stacks (e.g., Java/Node.js/Python, Spring Boot, microservices, REST/gRPC, cloud‑native).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum, product development, and startup/enterprise product environments.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; ability to balance business and technical priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
