Requirements
Eight or more years in software, with at least two managing engineers directly
A track record of people growing under you, which we will ask about in detail
Enough hands-on background to earn trust from senior engineers
Skill at managing upward and sideways, not only downward
Comfort with ambiguity in a services business where client priorities move
