We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate should have a solid command of English, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
Teach English language, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Use activity-based and student-centred teaching methods to make learning effective and interactive.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Assess students' learning and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom workplace.
Encourage students to develop communication, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills.
Use appropriate Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs)
and digital resources to enhance classroom learning.
Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and other academic documentation.
Participate in school meetings, teacher training, academic activities, and events.
Communicate effectively with parents and school management regarding students' academic progress when required.
Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Requirements
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
Prior teaching experience will be an advantage; freshers with strong subject knowledge may also be considered.
