Responsibilities
Perform power system studies: load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, motor starting and earthing.
Prepare single line diagrams, schematics, cable routing and termination drawings.
Specify and size transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VSDs, generators, UPS and earthing systems; issue datasheets and material requisitions.
Carry out hazardous area classification and select Ex equipment in line with IEC 60079.
Interface with the utility provider and client for approvals and energisation requirements.
Review vendor drawings and support FAT, installation and pre-commissioning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
6 to 12 years of electrical design experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
Hands-on experience with power system analysis software.
Positive command of written and spoken English.
