Manage overall chemical factory operations and production activities.
Plan and monitor production schedules and achieve production targets.
Ensure quality, safety, EHS and statutory compliance.
Manage manpower, shifts, discipline and team performance.
Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Accounts departments.
Monitor raw materials, inventory, wastage and production costs.
Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Handle plant maintenance and breakdown-related coordination.
Maintain production records, reports and MIS.
Ensure secure handling, storage and use of chemicals.
Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth plant functioning.Role & responsibilities
