Role & responsibilities
Knowledge in any Transmission aggregates like Gear box, Rear axle, clutch, propeller shaft etc.
Experience in preparing Gearbox or axle layout, Clutch actuation or Gear shift layout.
Experience in preparing 3D modeling, 2D drawing in CATIA V5 or any other equivalent software is must. Knowledge of working on Autocad is of added advantage.
Understanding of DFMEA, APQP etc. & working experience.
GD&T; knowledge, applying it on drawing
DVP preparation & Testing requirement finalisation for any part or assembly
Field issues analysis & finding solution for the same.
Design analysis for Transmission components.
Knowledge in Gear calculation & analysis. Knowledge of working on softwares like Romax, MASTA etc.
Work experience on PLM
Basic understanding of machining of components like casting, forging etc.
