We are hiring an Estimation Engineer to support our tendering and costing function. This is an entry-level role suited to candidates with 1–2 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or costing in a manufacturing or construction products workplace.
Responsibilities
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and price proposals based on architectural drawings and door schedules
Cross-verify quantities between drawings, BOQs, and sales orders
Maintain and update rate databases for doors and hardware
Coordinate with sales and procurement teams for scope clarifications and vendor pricing
Identify scope gaps and flag discrepancies during bid preparation
Support the sales team with quick-turn estimates for pre-bid enquiries
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Production Engineering or equivalent
1–2 years of experience in estimation, costing, or quantity surveying
Experience in doors, facades, steel fabrication, or building products preferred
Ability to read architectural and shop drawings
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of hardware components (closers, locks, hinges) is an advantage
Familiarity with ERP systems (Tally, or SAP) is a plus
