Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with around 5 years of experience in data warehouse testing, ETL validation, and database testing. The candidate should have solid SQL skills and hands-on experience in validating data across source, transformation, and target systems.

Key Responsibilities
Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Validate data between source and target systems for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
Test ETL mappings, workflows, transformations, and business rules.
Perform data warehouse testing, including fact and dimension tables.
Identify, analyze, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, regression, and integration testing.
Work closely with developers, ETL teams, business analysts, and data engineers to resolve data issues.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.





Mandatory Skills
5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing
Robust SQL skills
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
Experience with Source-to-Target validation and data reconciliation
Knowledge of Fact Dimension tables, Star/Snowflake schemas
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
Positive understanding of SDLC and STLC

Good to Have
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS
Exposure to Python scripting or automation
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
