Roles and Responsibilities
Production Scheduling: Create and maintain master production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and plant capacity.
Material Control: Run Material Requirements Planning (MRP), monitor raw material inventory, and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages.
Resource Allocation: Determine and assign required manpower, shift schedules, and equipment to maximize shop floor efficiency.
Progress Monitoring: Track daily output, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions for schedule deviations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with quality control, warehouse, maintenance, and sales teams to streamline workflow.
