Role & Responsibilities
Lead overall Forging Plant operations, production, quality, and productivity.
Achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Manage forging processes, presses, furnaces, dies, tooling, and manpower.
Monitor OEE, rejection, rework, downtime, yield, and productivity.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and Lean practices.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, and other departments.
Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead plant audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Develop and manage the plant team and ensure competency development.

Preferred Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production,



Metallurgy, or a related field.
1520+ years of experience in forging/manufacturing operations.
Solid experience in hot/closed-die forging processes.
Experience in automotive or engineering component manufacturing is preferred.
Strong knowledge of plant operations, production KPIs, quality systems, and lean manufacturing.
Positive understanding of IATF 16949, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices.
Robust leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management skills.
