About the Role:
We are looking for an Intern to work closely with the Founder and team across client engagements and internal initiatives.
Work with the team across live M&A;, fundraising and strategic finance engagements
Conduct company, industry and transaction research
Assist with financial analysis, financial models and preparation of client and transaction materials
Research potential investors, strategic buyers, acquisition targets and other relevant prospects
Support business development, including identifying prospective clients and preparing outreach materials
Assist in developing presentations, proposals, credentials and other company materials
Contribute to Findesq's marketing and content initiatives
Work closely with the Founder and team across ongoing business and internal initiatives
Who we are looking for:
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Commerce or a related field
Strong interest in corporate finance, M&A;, investing and businesses
Good understanding of financial statements and basic corporate finance concepts
Solid analytical and research skills
Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, willingness to learn and a proactive approach to work
Comfortable working across different assignments and taking ownership of allocated work
Prior internship experience in finance, consulting, investment banking or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.
