Role & responsibilities
Analyse insurance proposals and assess risk based on underwriting guidelines.
Prepare underwriting reports, quotations, and technical evaluations
Liaise with insurance companies for quotations, negotiations, and policy terms.
Support the sales team with technical inputs for recent business and renewals.
Manage renewals including pricing, negotiations, and timely closures.
Coordinate with internal teams and insurers for policy issuance and endorsements.
Maintain proper documentation and underwriting records.
Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and company policies.
