Job Title: Back Office Executive – Inventory & Purchasing

Location: Gurugram | Supporting four retail stores
We are looking for an organised, hands-on professional who has managed large inventories across multiple retail locations. This role is responsible for keeping stock records accurate and ensuring stores receive the right products on time.
Key responsibilities
Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and prepare purchase requirements.
Raise and track purchase orders; coordinate with suppliers on deliveries, discrepancies and returns.
Plan stock transfers between stores and verify that dispatches and receipts are recorded correctly.
Conduct regular stock counts, investigate differences and resolve negative stock.
Identify slow-moving products and help execute approved promotions and clearance plans.
Maintain accurate product, price and inventory data in the billing system and spreadsheets.
Prepare explicit reports on purchases, stock availability, transfers and stock-count differences.
Candidate requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail inventory,
purchasing or warehouse operations; multi-store experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage a large number of SKUs and investigate stock discrepancies.
Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets and a retail POS or inventory system.
Robust follow-up, attention to detail and coordination skills.
Able to work with store teams and suppliers while maintaining explicit records and controls.
Success in this role means: accurate stock, timely replenishment, documented transfers and stock counts, and fewer avoidable shortages or excess purchases.
