Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration: Manage, configure, and scale enterprise Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence instances.
Workflow & Scheme Design: Architect complex custom workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens, and custom fields.
Automation & Scripting: Build robust automation rules and leverage scripting tools like ScriptRunner (Groovy/Jelly) or Python via REST APIs for advanced integrations.
Migrations & Upgrades: Plan and execute instance migrations, version upgrades, and cloud transitions.
Ecosystem Integration: Integrate Jira/JSM with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins), monitoring solutions, and identity providers (SAML/SSO).
User Governance & Support: Oversee user access, global permissions, license optimization, and provide tier-2/tier-3 troubleshooting support.
Reporting & Optimization: Create global dashboards, advanced Jira Query Language (JQL) filters, and SLA reports for business and technical stakeholders
