Key Responsibilities
Remediate static (SVA) and energetic (DVA) findings require actual code changes – insecure patterns, broken auth, injection risks, etc.
Build automated upgrade/refactor scripts for dependency (SCA) and container-based image vulnerabilities
Fix CloudFormation issues flagged by Wiz IaC Scan
Build regression-testing harnesses to validate that fixes don’t break functionality
Partner with the Automation Engineer to productionize fixes into pipelines
Mandatory Skills
5+ years in Java/Spring Boot and Microservices, SQL and AWS
AWS experience (CloudFormation, containers)
Experience with SAST/DAST-style remediation (SVA/DVA) and dependency upgrades
Solid CI/CD and automated testing background
Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash) for cross-tool remediation workflows
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) to accelerate code fixes, dependency upgrades, and automation scripting
