Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end land acquisition processes for infrastructure projects (Railway/Highway/Metro/Other BOT projects).
Liaise with State/Central Government authorities, local administration, revenue departments, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth acquisition and transfer of land.
Ensure compliance with the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and other relevant land and revenue laws.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and resolve challenges related to land disputes, compensation, resettlement, and rehabilitation.
Coordinate with legal teams, project managers, and contractors to ensure land-related clearances are aligned with project schedules.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports of land acquisition progress.
Provide expert advice to management on land acquisition policies, legal implications, and stakeholder engagement.




Represent the organization in negotiations, meetings, and discussions with government authorities and affected parties.

Qualification
Graduate Degree (mandatory)
Preferably LLB from a recognized institute/university

Experience Requirements
Total Skilled Experience: Minimum 15 years of skilled experience.
Relevant Experience (any one of the following)
At least 5 years’ experience in Railway/Highway projects as a Liaison Manager with direct involvement in land acquisition for BOT/Construction Agencies.
At least 3 years at Manager level or above in a Railway PSU handling construction project with significant land acquisition responsibilities.
At least 3 years in State Government Administration/Revenue Department as a Gazetted Officer handling and enabling land acquisition for infrastructure projects.
