Role: Lead end-to-end furniture production operations, ensuring adherence to high-precision Japanese quality and output standards.
Methodology: Drive efficiency using Lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and rigorous shop-floor organization.
Cross-Cultural Liaison: Act as a communication bridge between Japanese executive management and local or regional operational teams. [1, 2, 3]

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Supervise daily factory workflows from raw material processing (wood, hardware, upholstery) to final assembly and packaging. [1, 2, 3]
Quality Control: Enforce stringent defect-prevention measures and inspection protocols aligned with Japanese craftsmanship and tolerances. [1, 2]
Process Optimization: Implement Kaizen events,



5S frameworks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to boost factory capacity and productivity. [1, 2]
Resource & Team Leadership: Manage shop-floor staff, conduct technical training, oversee machine maintenance (including CNC routers), and plan workforce allocation. [1, 2, 3]
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, design engineering, and dispatch teams to hit delivery timelines. [1, 2, 3]

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Furniture Technology, or a related field. [1, 2]
Experience: 8 to 15 years of total manufacturing experience, with a solid background in furniture production or woodworking environments. [1]
Language/Nationality: Japanese nationality or bilingual/Japanese-speaking qualified preferred; solid English or local language proficiency for bilingual communication. [1, 2]
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with woodworking machinery, CNC programming/operation, bill of materials (BOM), and ERP systems. [1, 2, 3]
